The Samsung ML-2240 is a small, handy, and fast laser printer for B/W text and graphic printing. There is space for 150 pages in the paper compartment and 100 sheets in the output area – this should be sufficient for daily use in most cases. The replacement cassettes, on the other hand, hold approximately 1,500 pages.
Designed for a maximum printing performance of 8,000 pages per month, it should be particularly interesting for home users with a relatively high output of black and white prints, such as hard-working students or academics, or for smaller text offices. The printer works relatively quickly and, according to the manufacturer, delivers up to 22 A4 pages per minute. The printer’s resolution of 1,200 by 600 pixels should also guarantee fairly fine and clean graphic printouts.
The Samsung ML-2240 can be used on Windows, Mac, or Linux PCs and installation is said to be relatively simple.
