Samsung ML-1660 Driver and User Manual
According to Samsung, the ML-1660 is the smallest laser printer in the world. It measures just 341 x 224 x 184 millimeters and should therefore still easily find a place for itself even in cramped conditions on a desk or in a study. This is one of the reasons why Samsung has set its sights on schoolchildren especially students as the target group for the black and white laser printer.
Of course, this printer is not designed for high-end performance, but it still wants to offer enough for normal use. The print quality for black and white documents (maximum resolution 1,200 x 600 pixels) and the speed of up to 16 pages per minute and a brisk 8.5 pages for the first page – are very solid and should ensure a more than just decent presentation of the seminar papers and templates. The printing performance of the Samsung ML-1660 is designed for an average of 75 pages per month, but of course, it can be more in one go. The laser printer offers the great advantage that the printer does not have to be used during the semester with not to worry about the nozzles drying out – as with an inkjet printer.
Black and white lasers are the hardworking, functional worker bees in the printer sector, which are generally required to do nothing more than produce text and graphic documents with a clean print image and as quickly as possible. The Samsung ML-1660 demonstrated high print quality not only, as was to be expected, with pure text documents, which it produced with a fine print image that even withstood a magnifying glass test and without any splashes of color.
