How to reset Samsung Refrigerator and Top Freezer

There are 2 ways to reset the Samsung fridge, you can follow the tutorial below, please do soft reset first before you do another way to fix your refrigerator.

Soft Reset:

Unplug the refrigerator and Wait for 10 minutes. Plug it back into the wall. The refrigerator is reset.

*you can simply unplug (disconnect) wire harness then reconnect it again

Hard Reset:

  1. If the refrigerator is still on, Press the Power Freezer and the Power Cool buttons at the same time.
  2. Hold both buttons for 3 to 5 seconds.
  3. This will reset the Samsung refrigerator back to normal and the refrigerator will begin cooling and the error code is gone.
