The Samsung PM1763 is a high-performance enterprise NVMe solid-state drive designed for demanding workloads such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, high-performance computing (HPC), hyperscale data centers, and enterprise servers. Built around Samsung’s ninth-generation V-NAND and a Samsung 4nm controller, this NVMe SSD combines high throughput, low latency, and enterprise-class endurance for data-intensive environments.
The Samsung PM1763 supports PCIe 6.0 x4 connectivity and the NVMe 2.1 standard, enabling exceptionally high bandwidth for next-generation server and storage platforms. It is available in E1.S, E3.S, and U.2 form factors, with U.2 models using a PCIe Gen5 interface. The drive is also designed to meet the OCP 2.6 standard, making it suitable for modern hyperscale and cloud data-center infrastructures. It has capacities ranging from 3.84TB to an enormous 61.44TB, with additional options of 7.68TB, 15.36TB, and 30.72TB. Performance reaches up to 28,400 MB/s for sequential reads and 21,000 MB/s for sequential writes, while random performance can reach up to 6.8 million IOPS for reads and 950,000 IOPS for writes.
With an endurance rating of 1 drive write per day (DWPD) for five years, the Samsung PM1763 is designed to provide reliable operation in enterprise environments.
